Giving Respite to Caregivers

CaringWheels provide a few main services to help caregivers and we are opening doors to kind-hearted individuals who would like to volunteer their time to support the caregivers community!

Services CaringWheels Provide:

  • Care Aide
  • Medical Chaperone (with & without vehicle)
  • Transportation Arrangement

Volunteer Registration Process

Not to worry! Here is an insight of what to expect once you register your interest with us as a volunteer.

1. Send Application

Complete the membership registration form and tick “I want to be a Volunteer”. Upon submission, we will look into your application and contact you again.

2. Onboard Briefing

Once you’ve been selected as a volunteer, we will start you up with a physical/online briefing of our company, programmes, services and your roles and responsibilities.

3. Training

Each role will have its training programme to ensure that you have the knowledge and confidence in your area of interest.

4. Volunteer!

Now that you have the knowledge and confidence, you will be assigned based on your monthly availability. Opt-in for ad-hoc updates to receive more volunteering opportunities.

Accompany individuals to medical appointments, providing assistance and reassurance every step of the way.

Skill-based Volunteer

Contribute to CaringWheels' programmes with hard skills.

Care Aide

Provides emotional support and companionship to the caregiver, and may involve providing daily living assistance to the care recipient and some light housekeeping.

Fund Raising

Help raise funds for the general donation pool or specific projects.

Caregiving Instructor

Equip caregivers with the necessary knowledge and skills for effective and compassionate caregiving.
